Generational theory is based on the very obvious fact that children rebel against their parents, and so each generation differs significantly from the previous one. In America today there are vast differences between Boomers, Gen-Xers and Millennials. These generational changes turn out to be quite predictable, and generational theory captures those predictable changes.

This web site has applied generational theory to hundreds of countries at all times in history -- China, Russia, Lebanon, Rwanda, Afghanistan, France, the United States, Iraq war, Korean War, World War I, collapse of the Byzantine Empire, rise of Islam -- you name it, and it's probably been analyzed on this web site. Since 2003, this web site has thousands of analyses, forecasts and predictions, based on generational theory analysis, and there is no web site, analyst, politician, economist or journalist in the world with a better record of analysis and forecasting.

Generational theory by itself is little better than astrology in analyzing events. Generational Dynamics combines generational theory with Chaos theory and MIT's System Dynamics. This combination provides a powerful, accurate tool for analyzing historical and geopolitical developments in every country of the world at all times in history. In the 20th century, the foundational work on generational theory was done by several researchers, including Anthony Wallace, William McLoughlin, Neil Howe and William Strauss (fourth turning). Their research was restricted to generational changes in England and the United States in recent times. In the 21st century, Generational Dynamics extends generational theory to all places and times in history.

From the beginning, this web site has always been an experiment to validate Generational Dynamics, and for that reason, all 6,000 articles since 2003 are still on this web site, where they can be checked for validity at any time in the future. Visitors are invited to do so.
